Und wieder ist sie da: die Guillotine! Und die Guillotine feiert Renaissance, der Sommer feiert Renaissance, die Musik und der Tanz feiern Renaissance, bis am Ende die Guillotine auf der Bühne steht, als hätte Leonardo da Vinci sie erfunden.

Die Renaissance kommt bekanntlich aus Italien, genauso wie Cécile, der aus der Bloody Beetroots Umfeld kommt. Heute Abend zum ersten mal in Berlin zu sehen, können wir euch versprechen, das der Newcomer aus Steve Aokis Stall Dim Mak ganz sicher, in Kürze schon Kultstatus erreichen wird. Gesegnet mit einer klassischen Musikausbildung, spielt Cécile rockige Stücke mit extrem scharfen beats, deutlichen Italo Einflüssen und leicht sinnlichen Melodien à la Michelangelo.

Mikix The Cat hingegen vertritt die heavy bass Renaissance! Und mit heavy meinen wir nicht nur schwer denken sondern echt kräftig! Mit 21, ist Mikix der jüngste bei Trouble&bass und seit 2007 hält er überdies unangefochten den Titel „Paris Heavy Bass Champion!“ Unterwegs in ganz Europa, wird er beweisen das seine 4x4 beats und basslines härter als jede Guillotine sind.

Als Hauptgast sind wir sehr dankbar Jokers Of The Scene den Berlinern präsentieren zu können, denn ihr Mix aus Oldschool Dance Music und kräftigen modernen Produktionen hat sie ganz weit nach vorne gebracht. Von A-track bis Diplo schätzen alle die zwei Kanadier und seit 2008 sind sie auch unser Lieblingsteam. Renaissance der Dance Music eben.

Berlin Local Hero Sick Sinus wird für ein fettes warmup sorgen. Seine solid kunst des mixens hat ihm schon alle Türen der Hauptstadtclubs geöffnet, und wir freuen uns auf seinen ersten Auftritt unter der Guillotine! Frisches blood für den Henker.
